Father’s Day is this Sunday!  I know it can be tricky to find the perfect gift, but this year I’ve got you covered so you don’t have to buy your pops another coffee mug for Father’s Day!

The first step in coming up with a perfect gift is exploring your different options. The Gift.com app is a great tool for getting the ball rolling when finding a Father’s day gift. This app allows you to pick from different personality types for men like “Active Life Style” or “Chef,” and then those are broken down even further into interests like “Grill Master” or “Cook.” I recommend using this app for ideas, and then looking for that perfect grill accessory online where you have more options then the ones featured in the app. The app is completely free for iPhones, so why not give it a try!

Ok, so you’ve found a gift and want to make it just a little more special: you can give your Dad an app to go with it!

iPhones have a cool feature where you can send an app as a gift!  It’s a bit tricky to do, but these step-by-step instructions will make it a no-brainer!

1. In the App store, find the app that you know your Dad will love. (If you need inspiration, take a look at any of my other articles for great app ideas.)
2. In the upper right corner of that app’s page, you will see a “Share” button that looks like a box with an arrow.
3. Press this and it will bring up different options, click on “gift.”
4. Type in your Dad’s email, a thoughtful message and when you want him to receive the app.
5. Select nice digital wrapping paper designs for the gift message.
6. Click “buy”.
7. You’re all set!

Whether you get your Dad a gift for the grill, a helpful grilling app or both, your Dad is bound to love it just as much as all those boring coffee mugs from past years!
