Saint Patrick’s Day Apps

17 Mar , 2017

Top o’ the morning’ to ya! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Irish or not, it’s always fun to wear green and have a couple of beers with friends. However, Saint Patrick’s Day celebrating is known for going too far “over the rainbow” let’s say. This week I have apps that will help everyone enjoy themselves without having to rely on the luck of the Irish!

Next Glass- When you’re drinking beer this weekend make sure its beer you actually like, even if you’ve never had it before! If you’re up for trying a new brew, download Next Glass. This app builds a taste profile on other beers you’ve enjoyed and shows you a list of ones you are sure to love. You can easily search drinks by name or by taking a picture of the label or bar code. The app is free for both iPhone and Android so be adventurous!

Any Beer ABV- It can be hard to know how much alcohol is in a beer, especially if this is your first time drinking it. Now you don’t have to spend any of your weekend guessing with Any Beer ABV. This handy app tells you the alcohol by volume of over 13,000 beers! It even has categories like highest ABV, lowest ABV and new beers that were just added. Drinking responsibly is easy because Any Beer ABV is free for both iPhone and Android.

Drunk Mode- It’s always best to have a backup plan if things get messy this weekend. Drunk Mode is the perfect app to keep you safe if you’re thinking of indulging yourself tonight! The app has five useful features: A drunk dial blocker, a drunk friend locator, a map of your night events if you forget or need to back track, a way to get instant directions to your home or call a ride to take you there and finally a map of hotspots where other parties and events are going on! This app has everything you need to survive this Saint Patrick’s Day weekend and it is free for iPhone devices!

Do you have a lot of fun plans for this weekend? I hope you all wear green and have a great Saint Patrick’s Day!
